I've seen a lot of those lists for themes and stuff that are meant to be inspiration, and I like the idea but usually hate the themes. I have my own list of stuff I want to be doing.

mediums and styles,
1. Pencil Crayons
2. Watercolours (watercolour pencils?)
3. moar life drawing! I've been doing it in black conte, but maybe try charcoal too? Get brown conte for more depth?
4. distinct unified colour scheme that sets the mood - powerful, peaceful, strong light, soft, etc.
5. maybe monochromatic (pencil) with limited additions of colour (one or two maximum)?

general concepts,
1. strong emotion
2. action, dynamic poses, movement (semi-related, omnomnom anatomy. hands, feet, faces, realistic movement.)
3. multiple subject drawings
4. diverse figures/subjects, expand your horizons!
5. dynamic perspective (QQ)
6. conceptual & surreal.

specific,
1. soft and pretty, gentle (warm) - (a) portrait (b) scene
2. soft and melancholic (cold)
3. harsh/dark india ink (monochrome)
